About The Event
The Short Film Competition provides a creative platform for students to showcase their storytelling, directing, and technical skills through visual media. Participants submit short films addressing innovative ideas, social messages, and artistic perspectives.
Please remember to include your name, college, department, phone number, and symposium registration pass code in the submission email.
Pre-Registration Required
On-spot registration is not available for Short Film Competition. All entries must be registered online before the deadline.
Official Rules & Guidelines
Each team may consist of 1 to 5 members. Open to students from all departments and colleges.
The short film must be 20 to 30 minutes only.
Open theme with a meaningful message. Any language is allowed.
English subtitles are compulsory if the film is not in English.
The film must be in MP4 format. Minimum resolution: 1080p (Full HD).
Participants must upload their short film to Google Drive and ensure the link is shared with viewing access for evaluation.
Each member of the team must register individually. The email should be sent only once by the team leader.
Include team leader name, department, year, phone number, college name, names of all team members, registration codes, and Drive link in the email.
The film must be original. Only copyright-free music and content should be used. Proper credits must be given.
Vulgar or inappropriate content will lead to instant disqualification.
Films will be judged based on Story/Message, Creativity, Direction/Editing, Cinematography, and Overall Impact.
Last date for submission is 21st October 2026 - 11:59 PM. On-spot registration is not available.
